Dear Vaibhavi, I have no idea about the B.Sc. In Computer Science programme at VIT but being alumni of LPU I can share the details of B.Sc. In Comp Science at LPU as my friend did the same from LPU and got placed in an MNC. Computer Science at Lovely Professional University is always in demand. To commence with the curriculum, all the subjects you are going to study, their syllabus is designed keeping in mind the industry demands and the syllabus is vetted by company officials. Different specializations are offered to students depending upon the stream they want to opt for. For example- In CSE, they offer cybersecurity, IoT, Data Science, machine learning, and many more. Moreover, they give you the option for pathway elective: whether you want to be in the corporate sector, higher studies, Government Job, or entrepreneur. In addition to it, the classes you have to attend regularly. They did not compromise with the academics of the students. If any faculty is on leave, the classes are either adjusted or makeup lectures are planned. As an alumnus of LPU, I feel proud to answer this question. I was a student in the B.Tech CSE of 2012 batch. B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering is related with algorithms, computation, programming languages, programme design, computer hardware, computer software etc. It is a comprehensive course in computer systems and applications. The students who pursue the course of Computer Science Engineering are taught about design, the implementation as well as management of computer software and hardware. 1 Placements :Every year more than 1000 companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. The highest package offered during LPU placements 2022 stood at INR 64 LPA. The highest package was grabbed by a B.Tech CSE student of LPU, and the offer was made by Google. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 LPA by Microsoft in 2020. In the pandemic year, 2020-2021, Cloud ERA has offered 31 Lacs Per annum (CSE) and in the year 2019-2020, CODE NATION has offered 31 LPA.

Being a student of LPU, I think I can provide you with an honest opinion. Though I'm not pursuing my B.Sc. In CS I do have my friends who are pursuing the same. LPU adopts new technologies faster than anyone, they update their curriculum even after each semester by taking feedback from the students and also to meet the latest standards. LPU focuses on practical knowledge a lot, they have high tech labs and dedicated MAC lab for iOS development, each core subject has a different practical subject for it. Also in today generation knowledge and education is not only based on textbooks but also on the outside world, thinking out of the box and overall learning that's why LPU offers their students to participate in a lot of activities and events, the environment of LPU is very good and the academics tasks of LPU are so well planned that even in a course like Engineering you'll be able to manage time for exploring other things. Placements at LPU have always been good, LPU has set the bar very high due to its record-breaking placements. Computer Science students of LPU are working with hundreds of leading IT giants of the world, from Google to Microsoft to Apple. I would like to contribute by giving some insights about LPU:1.Good Placements:Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft in 2019-20. 2. Accreditation : Every year, more than 30,000 students graduate from LPU across all disciplines. Accredited by most technical bodies such as UGC, NCTE, PCI, IAP, COA, BCI, and AIU, LPU has covered massive ground since being founded back in 2005. Already amongst the top private colleges students keep on their checklist, the potential for LPU to grow further seems apparent. 3. Faculty: LPU composed of the best faculty members from IIM, IITs and the other best B schools. 4. Upgraded Approach: LPU is highly upgraded in its parameters as it includes paperless attendance, online assignments, submission etc. We can also raise our grievances online itself 5.
