Which university should I join LPU or Chandigarh university for B.Tech computer Science.

Chandigarh University offers several specializations under a four-year B.Tech programme. The University conducts a national-level entrance test, namely CUCET for B.Tech admission. Students studying in Class 12 can also apply for CUCET. In addition to this, those having a valid score in JEE Main exam are also eligible to apply for B.Tech admission at CU. Chandigarh University offers several sub-specializations of BE in Computer Science Engineering. All these programmes are categorized under specialized programmes that are offered in collaboration with IBM or TCS. Computer Science & Business Systems is offered in collaboration with TCS, whereas the rest of the specializations are offered in collaboration with IBM. For admission to these courses, the University gives preference to the applicants with a valid JEE Main score.

Being an alumni I would like to say that LPU is the best place to pursue CSE. An Engineering programme which seamlessly articulates the concepts from basic Science to technology with relevant practice through lab and projects for building the problem solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place. Students will develop competence in areas like programming, Database Management Systems, Networks and Security, Operating Systems, Cloud Computing etc. B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering is related with algorithms, computation, programming languages, programme design, computer hardware, computer software etc. It is a comprehensive course in computer systems and applications. The students who pursue the course of Computer Science Engineering are taught about design, the implementation as well as management of computer software and hardware. Eligibility Details :Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Mathematics and English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants). The fee structure is Rs 1,20,000 per semester. 1 Placements :Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. Hello Faizan, As per my experience, LPU is the best place for a career. I have completed my CSE from the LPU in the year 2019. I have not faced any kind of disappointment at any phase. LPU provides the beautiful infrastructure and all required resources to students and staff. I highly recommend that if you really want to make your career with a good level of education then you should go for LPU. My Decision for LPU was the best decision of my life. LPU provides specialisation also in Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Full Stack Web Development, Big Data, etc. LPU gave me an extra edge in everything. LPU is Great in teaching, placements, infrastructure, or other facilities. The best thing is LPU gives the career pathways like I was interested in placements and I opted then university gave me all required and important inputs and the result was my placement in a good MNC with Great Package. The maximum package was 31 Lacs per annum in that year. On another hand, my batchmates who were interested in higher studies than university gave all required inputs according to them. So in short LPU is actually Nourishing the students for a better future. Rest Haters are everywhere but LPU is the Best place for a good career.

You should go with LPU. The placement of LPU is very good.600+ companies visit the campus every year and almost 90% of the students got placed. Last year a girl placed in microsoft with a package of 42 Lacs per annum. The placement staff of LPU works very hard for bringing the company in the camp. LPU also have tie ups with foreign university that will help student to place in foreign universities. LPU campus is so lovely. The whole campus is under cctv. So no issue of security problems. Hostels are well maintained. Food is good for health. LPU also provide a sports ground with very experienced coach. The university is having a university-hospital which is free of cost for the students. Ambulance service is free for 24 hrs. Wi-Fi facility in all the hostels. Smart classroom. Whole university is online so you can do anything from your mobile. There is no compensation in studies, whenever a teacher on leave then the makeup classes will be arranged for the teacher. There are restriction on teachers also, they also have to take permission for late night entry. Apart from this, LPU also have clubs which will help you to enlighten your talent whether it is in singing, anchoring, acting, dancing or any other. You will get to know about diversity in India. Foreigners also live in LPU that will help you know about there culture.

At Chandigarh University, CSE is worthwhile. Chandigarh University is an excellent choice if you want to pursue a career in CSE. In North India, this is the finest option. The CSE faculty is excellent and well-versed in modern technology. There are well-equipped labs available.
