Being alumni of LPU, I can only provide you with the information about this program at LPU instead of others. There are a few points I would like to share about why CSE is good at LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. in which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. per annum by Microsoft. LPU has a very good placement and achieved awards for employability also. The main thing for placement that I liked there is that LPU provides placement classes to the students from the first year, which helps students prepare for placement until their final year of the program. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students based on their academics, extracurricular activities, and other factors. So it would be best if you compared them on the following parameters. Curriculum development: Is the curriculum at the university is upgraded with industry inputs? Teaching pedagogy: Your college must have experiential learning practices. More the practical, better it is. Infrastructure: To support the practical and theoretical aspects of the curriculum. Internships: For learning hands in real-time situations. Professional enhancement: The college must focus on personality development, soft skills, interpersonal skills, work ethics, etc. Technologies: The curriculum must include training on cutting-edge technologies like SAP, GitHub, etc. Student diversity: When the class comprises diverse nationalities, students learn working in corporate, teamwork, and cross-cultural sensibilities. Faculty: High caliber and research-oriented. Industry interface: There must be regular industry interactions, seminars, conferences, visits, and mentorship programs. Entrepreneurship projects: The universities need to have design thinking, innovation. If we compare all three are all good and well-known private universities, but as per my knowledge, LPU is slightly better in terms of opportunities. For B.Tech CSE, the best choice is: LPU – Best for placements, coding opportunities, modern labs, and campus life. Many IT companies visit for recruitment. Amity Noida – Good university with a nice campus and decent placements, but generally offers a lower return on investment than LPU. Sharda University – Good for studies, but placements for CSE are generally not as strong as LPU and Amity.
