Which will be my domicile state?

I studied from 1st standard to 8th standard in Hyderabad and later moved to Bangalore and continued my class 9th, 10th and PUC education. I heard that in order to take K-CET, I need to complete my 7 academic years in Karnataka.

Your state of domicile is the place you have in your permanent resident certificate (PRC). Mention the name of state which includes the certificate.

    Hello Pranavi,
The domicile eligibility criteria states that you should be a resident of a state in India for a minimum period of 5 years to be a domicile of the state. So, as per your details, you can apply for a domicile certificate in Karnataka.
Kindly, note that you can have a domicile certificate of ONLY one state in India. If you have a domicile certificate of a different state, you need to cancel it first before applying for a new domicile. To cancel a domicile, contact the notary department in a court and file an affidavit.
    I hope this helps.
