Well, to be honest both the engineering branches are equally good and it will be difficult to say which one is better. However, below are the scope for both the engineering branches.

If you are speaking of only these two branches then between the two Mechanical has larger scope in the Govt sector and that it mainly because Railways have more opportunities for Mechanical than EEE.
