The Gayathri Educational and Cultural Trust was founded by 'Guru' Sri Sivananda Murthy Garu in 1982 with the objective of imparting quality education to students.
During 1990, the Trust established Lalitha Degree College at Nampally Station Road, Hyderabad with UG courses like B.A., B.Sc.and B.Com.
