You can take up Distance BEd courses if you are:
Working Professionals: You are employed and wish to switch to the teaching profession but can't manage a full time learning mode.
Homemakers: If you have family duties to take care of and want a teaching career with a flexible learning option.
Remote Area Resident: If you live in remote areas with limited to no access to offline BEd programs.
Teachers with Prior Experience: If you have teaching experience but do not have a valid Bed degree you can choose this path. -
One who has completed his/her under graduation from a recognised university with the required minimum percentage.
