Who are the top alumni of BIET - Bapuji Institute of Engineering and Technology?

<p>There is a notable list of alums from Bapuji Institute of Engineering and Technology, Davangere. From the list, there have been many leaders who, after graduating, took senior positions in top IT companies like Infosys, Wipro, and TCS. <p>BIET Alumni Association came in to existence in the year 1994 with the then principal Prof. G.S.Shivanna as president and Dr. Sharanaprabhu, Faculty in Mechanical Engg. Dept. as Secretary. During this period few activities were conducted within the preview limits. In the year 2005, Mr. S.B.Patil, Faculty in Civil Engg. Dept. took the charge as secretary and Prof. Y. Vrushabhendrappa, the then principal continued as president in the year 2009, one Alumni meet was conducted under the Presidentship of Dr. B.T. Achyutha, the then Principal as president and Mr. S.B. Patil as secretary. This Meet has helped many students of BIET for their Placement and Training. In the year 2010, Mr. M.C. Patel senior Faculty in Textile Dept, took the Charge as secreattary of BIET Alumni Association and conducted one Mega Alumni Meet 0n 1st May 2010. During this meet, many students working across the country participated in the meet and exchanged their experiences and relished their memories. This meet has helped many students for seeking jobs. In the year Jan. 2012, the BIET Textile Alumni Meet was held under the leadership of M.C.Patel Senior faculty of Textile Dept, and Secretary of BIET Alumni Association Dr.S.Subrahmanya Swamy, the present Principal was the president and prof. Y. Vrushabendrappa, Present Director of BIET was the Advisor. Many textile students working acrross the country and world participated and helped many textile students for their placement. On this occasion, the Heads of Textile Department who have rendered yeoman Service for the growth of Textile department from the day of inciption were felicitated.</p>
