    Candidates must have completed a 4-year bachelor's degree in engineering (B.Tech, B.E, or equivalent) in any of the following branches: Computer engineering, Information systems, Computer Science and engineering, Information technology, Electronics, and communication engineering + a valid GATE score, Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology/Design/Science or Equivalent (4 year programme after 10+2) or Masters degree in Science/Computer Applications (2 year programme after 10+2+3) with a minimum of 60% or equivalent grade.     Candidates who satisfy the qualifying requirements established by the individual IIITs (Indian Institutes of Information Technology) that offer postgraduate programs may take the IIIT PGEE (Postgraduate Entrance Examination). Generally speaking, applicants may apply if they have finished or are in their last year of a bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited university or institution, such as engineering, technology, computer science, mathematics, or a related field.     Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria can only apply. To be eligible to take the IIITH PGEE 2025, candidates must have completed a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (in any branch including CS/IT/ECE/EEE/Civil/Instrumentation/Biotechnology).  Alternatively, candidates must hold a Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or IT or must have passed the MCA programme.
