Who can apply for the UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Exam?

The UPSC administers the Combined Geo-Scientist Exam to determine candidates' eligibility for prominent positions such as geophysicists, geologists, and Scientist B. Age: The age of the applicant must be between 21 and 32 years. 3. Education: The following criteria are applicable depending on the position for which the applicant is applying: (a) For geologist posts: a Masters degree in Geological Science, Geology, Applied Geology, or any related subject mentioned in the notification from a recognised university. (b) Geophysicist/Scientist B (Geophysics): M.Sc. In Physics M.Sc. (Geophysics), M.Sc. (Marine Geophysics), or an Integrated M.Sc. , or any related subject mentioned in the notification from a recognised university. (c) Chemist/Scientist B (Chemical): a M.Sc. Degree in Chemistry Applied Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry (d) Scientist B (Hydrogeology): A Masters degree in Geology, Applied Geology, Marine Geology, or Hydrogeology is required. You can apply for this exam until you have reached the maximum age limit.
