  • You must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent examination from a recognised board. Applicants from the general category need to secure a minimum of 45% marks in the Class 12 final examination. There's an age limit for the general category applicants. The maximum age to apply is 20 yearson the 1st of July in the relevant year of admission. Applicants from SC/ST and OBC categories might have a relaxation in the age limit. 

  • To apply for BA LLB course at Burdwan University, candidates are required to pass the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place. As per the course requirements, applicants must pass Class 12 in any stream from a recognised board obtaining with minimum of 45% aggregate in total. Other than this, there is a relaxation of five percent for candidates belonging to SC, ST and OBC categories. Such candidates are required to attain a minimum of 40% aggregate in the final examination of Class 12.

The last-round closing ranks for the General All India category candidates was closed between range of 8070 and 27405. Looking at the cutoff list, it is possible to get admission to Burdwan University at 25000 rank in WBJEE for BE admission, but the choice of courses would be limited.
