To be eligible to pursue an undergraduate Journalism course,  one must have completed 10+2 from a recognised board with an aggregate of 50% or more. Various Journalism courses after 12th include a BA in Journalism, a BA in Journalism and Mass Communication, and a BA in Mass Media. They must have a minimum of 50 Percent in 12th from a recognised board, and any stream (Arts, Science, or Commerce). Some colleges have criteria that require candidates to possess good communication, reading and English skills.

    A. Graduates must make sure they meet the requirements in order to be accepted to the Journalism programmes. Students pursuing an undergraduate degree in journalism must have completed 10+2 from a recognised board with at least 50% score.

Students must also take the necessary entrance exams. When registering for the course, there is no upper age limit. The admission process for every college is different, hence, students need to visit websites and know the complete details before seeking admission.
