    The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences administers the NEET MDS test (NBEMS). The organisation in charge of holding the postgraduate medical entrance exams is called NBEMS, or NBE. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, oversees NBE as an independent entity. The test is held for the more than 6,000 postgraduate dental seats that are available in India.
