    The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduates, or NEET UG, is given by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The Ministry of Education, Government of India, established the autonomous organisation known as NTA to conduct admission examinations at the national level, such as NEET UG, on behalf of regulatory organisations like the Medical Council of India (MCI) and the Dental Council of India (DCI). In order to administer admission examinations at the national level, such as NEET UG, on behalf of regulatory bodies like the Medical Council of India (MCI) and the Dental Council of India (DCI), the Ministry of Education, Government of India, founded the independent entity known as NTA.
