It's totally depend on these that engineer is belong to IIT, BITS PILANI or Some of the top engineering college of India. If he/she belongs to that particular college and give their best in college. So yes definitely they'll earn more than CA but if that engineer is belong to some Tier-3 college of

In general CA earns more, but it depends on your knowledge and the Company's in which you do job.
