    There are set of provisions to check whether someone is in this category or not. You can check on official website and notification for the category person. I am sharing little bit of it. The subcategory of people belonging to the General Category having an annual family income less than 8 Lacs and who do not belong to any reserved category such as SC/ST/OBC.
