BMS College of Engineering eligibility criteria differs course-wise. Candidates must pass Class 12 for UG and graduation for PG programmes. Check below the course-wise eligibility:

BE	Class 12 or equivalent qualification with English as one of the language with a minimum of 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for SC/ ST and OBC cat-I, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B category candidates) in Physics and Mathematics along with one optional subject: Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Electronics
MTech	BE/ BTech in the relevant discipline with minimum 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC, ST, Category-I candidates from Karnataka) Reservation is applicable only for Karnataka students
MBA	Bachelor's degree from any recognised stream with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC, ST and Category-I candidates from Karnataka) including language
MCA	Bachelor's degree with Mathematics/ Statistics/ CS/ Computer Application/ Computer Programming/ Business Mathematics/ Business Statistics as one of the optional subjects with minimum 50% aggregate (45% for SC, ST and Category-I candidates from Karnataka)
PhD	Working professionals/ faculty and others with Master's degree from a recognised university in related discipline
