Who is eligible for BSc at Umang Geetai College of Women's Education?

The eligibility criteria for different programs offered by GIBS Business School vary. For BBA, candidates should have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination from any recognised board in any stream like Science, Commerce, or Arts. Students awaiting their results of the final 12th or PUC exams are also eligible to apply. For PGDM/MBA, applicants must have a bachelor's degree (10+2+3 or 10+2+4) in any discipline from any university recognised by UGC, AIU, or AICTE with an aggregate of at least 50% marks. Applicants need to have valid scores in any national-level entrance exams like CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA, GMAT, or relevant State CETs. Though it is not necessary to have work experience and extra qualifications, such experience/qualifications will be an added advantage during the selection process.

At GIBS Business School, Bangalore, campus placements are organized in mainly two phases to provide maximum placement opportunities for its students. The first phase is from around October, immediately after summer internships are completed, to April, and the second phase goes from May to July. In this process, students will undergo pre-placement talks, aptitude tests, group discussions, and personal interviews with top recruiters. Throughout the year, GIBS Finishing School provides students with professional placement training, including mock interviews, resume-building sessions, and soft-skill development workshops. This timeline allows students to be well prepared and confident when the leading companies conduct their recruitment drive at the campus.
