    NTA has released the CUET eligibility criteria.

    • Students who have passed class 12th exam or are appearing for final examinations will be eligible to apply for CUET exam. 
    • Student must have scored 50% marks in total (general category) or 45% marks (SC/ST and other categories).
    • There is no age limit to apply for CUET UG 2026 exam. However, candidates are advised to check the university and course wise criteria for admissions.

    Hi.

    Eligibility for the CUET UG (Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduate courses) in India:

    1. Nationality

    Applicants must be Indian citizens.

    Foreign nationals can also apply under certain categories (e.g., NRI/PIO/OCI quotas), depending on the university.

    2. Age Limit

    No specific age limit for appearing in CUET UG.

    However, individual universities may have their own age restrictions for admission.

    3. Educational Qualification

    Class 12 / Equivalent: Candidates must have completed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognised board.

    For appearing in the exam, candidates should have either:

No, a valid CUET score is accepted for admissions to both BA (Hons) in Liberal Arts & Humanities and the BA (Hons) in Philosophy, Politics & Economics at JSLAH. 

In the previous year admissions, CUET was only listed as an accepted exam for the BA (Hons) in Liberal Arts & Humanities admission.

No, candidates who wish receive the Jindal School of Liberal Arts and Humanities BA (Hons) scholarships must provide a valid score in the JSAT. Those candidates who appeared for the CUET during BA (Hons) admissions can still appear for the JSAT after getting admitted into the Jindal School of Liberal Arts and Humanities.

For admission to Delhi University, candidate must have passed or appeared for class 12 examination. There are no minimum marks requirement in class 12 for DU admission through CUET UG. DU may use the class 12 marks or percentage for tie breaking criteria.
