Students looking to get into the doctoral programme offered at Gurugram University must meet the eligibility criteria set by the university. Students can check out the following table to know about the eligibility and selection criteria for the Gurugram University PhD programme:

EligibilitySelection Criteria
  • PG degree with a minimum aggregate of 55% in the main/allied subject or equivalent
  • 5% relaxation for those belonging to the SC/ ST/ BC/NCL/ PWD students of Haryana 
  • 50% score (47.5% for SC/ ST/ Divyang students from Haryana) in the PhD entrance test conducted by the Controller of Examination of the university for each field
  • Those with a valid score in UGC/ CSIR-JR/ NET/ GATE are exempted from entrance exam 
  • Interview conducted by the university
