IIIT Manipur BTech eligibility requires the candidates to pass Class 12 from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and a minimum of 75% aggregate. Additionally, students must appear for the JEE Main exam and secure above the IIIT Manipur cut-off. Seats to the course are alloted through JoSAA counselling. The institute fills in the leftover seats through CSAB counselling.

ME/ M.Tech in a relevant area with a minimum Cumulative Performance Index (CPI) of 6.5 or 60% aggregate
OR
BE/ BTech in a relevant area with a minimum CPI of 7.5 or 70% aggregate
OR
BTech from an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in a relevant area with a minimum CPI of 7
For Humanities and Basic Sciences
MA/ MSc in a relevant area with a minimum of 60% aggregate
OR
ME/ M.Tech in a relevant area with a minimum CPI of 6.5 or 60% aggregate
OR
Bachelor's degree from an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in a relevant area with a minimum CPI of 7
OR
BE/ BTech (from other than IITs) in a relevant area with a minimum CPI of 7.5 or 70% aggregate
