The courses offered by the university are B.Sc, BA, B.E, M.Sc, B.Tech, M.Techetc. BHU gives admission on the basis of entrance exam. The results of candidates' performance on the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) exam determine their eligibility for M.Tech programs at IIT Varanasi.
