The MTech programme at IIT BHU Varanasi is one of the school's most popular opportunities. This programme lasts 2 years, broken up into 4 semesters. The results of candidates' performance on the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) exam determine their eligibility for M.Tech programs at IIT Varanasi. A CGPA of 6.00 on a 10-point scale or 60% overall for General/OBC (Non Creamy Layer)/EWS are requirement for candidates with a BE/BTech/MSc or comparable degree.
