    Candidates who has completed the Bachelor's degree in a relevant stream for at least two years (four semesters) and a minimum aggregate of 55% or 5.5 CGPA out of 10 is eligible for the MSc course at IIT Delhi. Further, candidates must aslo qualify the required entrace exams.

    To get into MSc at IIT Delhi, candidates must hold a relevant bachelor's degree with at least two years (four semesters) of study and a minimum of 55%–80% or 5.5 CGPA. Admission is entrance-based through JAM, GATE, COGJET, or NET, depending on the specialisation. Cognitive Science also requires an interview as part of the selection process.

    To be eligible for IIT Delhi MSc course, candidates need to clear their Class 12 board exams with a minimum aggregate of 60% in the relevant stream. The relevant streams depend on the chosen MSc specialisation with some requiring either Phiysics and Mathematics or Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects during a candidate's Class 12 course. 

    Candidates who fulfill this eligibility criteria can get admissions in IIT Delhi MSc if they score an appropriate rank in the IIT JAM or other applicable entrance exams.

    Students who meet these criteria can secure admission by achieving a qualifying rank in IIT JAM or any other applicable entrance exam:

    • Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant Science discipline.
    • Candidates must have at least 55% aggregate marks or a CGPA of 5.5 for General, OBC, and EWS categories.
    • For SC, ST, and PwD candidates, the eligibility criteria are relaxed to 50% aggregate marks or a CGPA of 5.0.

    Candidates seeking admission for MSc at IIT Delhi must ensure that they fulfil the requisite eligibility criteria. The selection at IIT Delhi is entrance-based. To be eligible, students must have completed their Graduation in a relevant stream for at least two years (four semesters) and a minimum aggregate between 55% and 80% or 5.5 CGPA out of 10. Additionally,  IIT Delhi MSc admissions are based on scores obtained in JAM (for BTech/ Chemistry,  BTech/ and Economics), COGJET/ GATE/ JAM/ NET, and an interview (for Cognitive Science).

    The eligibility criteria for admission to the MSc course at IIT Delhi differ according to the MSc specialisation selected by the candidates. The basic eligibility criteria are that candidates must complete their graduation/bachelor's with at least 55% aggregate marks or 5.5 CGPA/CPI out of 10 without rounding off (taking into account all subjects, including languages and subsidiaries, all years combined) for the General/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/EWS category.

However, the basic eligibility criteria for admission to the MSc course at IIT Dlehi is candidates must complete is they have completed their Bachelor's degree of three/ four years related to Science subjects (except MSc in Cognitive Science & Economics).
