To be eligible for the South Asian University (SAU), applicants must be citizens of one of the eight SAARC member countries: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. Eligibility criteria also include fulfilling specific academic prerequisites, such as passing the required qualifying examinations (e.g., 10+2 for undergraduate programs, graduation for postgraduate programs) with the minimum aggregate marks, as well as scoring well on the SAU Entrance Test.
