Who is eligible for SUNY New Paltz #YouareWelcomeHere Scholarship?

<p>SUNY New Paltz #YouareWelcomeHere Scholarship is for first-year UG international students starting studies in the Fall semester. It is annual, renewable scholarship that <strong>covers the 50% of the tuition fee</strong>. First-year UG international students of any majors are eligible for this scholarship. Students who want to be considered for this scholarship must meet the requirements given below:</p><ul><li>Meet the university&rsquo;s admission criteria and follow the application deadlines</li><li>Should meet the English language requirements</li><li>Must show the financial resources for the remaining expenses that are not covered by the scholarship</li><li>Must demonstrate interest and initiative in promoting intercultural learning &amp; exchange</li></ul><p><strong>Basic Admission Requirements for SUNY New Paltz:</strong> A high-school degree and a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or an 85% grade average or higher).</p>
