Who is eligible for the ISRO exam?

Eligibility Criteria for Scientist/Engineer 'SC' Post: 1- For Electronics: BE/B.Tech or equivalent in Electronics Engineering in first division with an aggregate min of 65% marks or CGPA 6.84 on a scale of 10. 2- For Mechanical: BE/B.Tech or equivalent in Electronics Engineering in First Class with an aggregate min of 65% marks or CGPA 6.84 on a scale of 10. 3- For Computer Science: BE/B.Tech or equivalent in Computer Science Engineering in First Class with an aggregate min of 65 percent marks or CGPA 6.84 on a scale of 10. 4- For Civil: BE/B.Tech or equivalent in Civil Engineering in First Class with an aggregate min of 65 percent marks or CGPA of 6.84 on a scale of 10. 5- For Electrical: BE/B.Tech or equivalent in Electrical Engineering in First Class with an aggregate min of 65 percent marks or CGPA 6.84 on a scale of 10. 6- For Refrigeration & AC: B.Tech or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering with Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or allied subjects as electives or as a core subject in any of the semesters, in First Class with an aggregate min of 65% marks or CGPA 6.84 on a scale of 10. 7- For Architecture: Bachelor's degree in Architecture in First Class with an aggregate min of 65 percent or CGPA 6.84 on a scale of 10 and registration with the Council of Architecture. Eligibility criteria for Junior Research Fellow: 1- For Position No. 1 to 6: M.E. , M.Tech. , or M.Sc. Or an equivalent postgraduate degree in first class with an aggregate minimum of 60% or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10-point scale, with a pre-eligibility ISRO qualification of B.E. , B.Tech. , or B.Sc. (engineering. ). Or an equivalent qualification with an aggregate minimum of 65% or CGPA/CGPI grading of 6.84 on a 10-point scale. Only candidates who have passed the NET or equivalent examinations are eligible to apply. 2- For Position No. 7 to 10: M.Sc. Or an equivalent degree in first class with an aggregate minimum of 65% average of all semesters or 6.5 CGPA/CPI grading on a 10-point scale. Only candidates who have passed the NET or equivalent examinations are eligible to apply. Age Limit: The maximum ISRO age limit is 28 years as of February 2, 2023, but it is relaxable for up to 5 years in the case of SC/ST candidates and 3 years in the case of OBC candidates. Intermediate Education Qualification: Intermediate/Class 12th passed from the PCM Group along with a minimum of 65% marks. Graduate Education Qualification: E/B.Tech degree with at least 65% marks in aggregate or CGPA 6.84/10 (average of all semesters for which results are available). Final Year: Candidates who are in the final year of the qualifying degree can also apply provided they can produce the same by the time the final selections are made. The ISRO qualificationprescribed and the benchmark is only the MINIMUM requirement and fulfilling the same does not automatically make candidates eligible for Written Test. Age Limit: 35 years as of Mar 5, 2023. Ex-Servicemen and Persons with Disabilities are eligible for age relaxation as per government. Of India orders.
