These scholarships are awarded from the Institute funds. The Institute shall award scholarships on the basis of merit-cum-means to all eligible students of the 4-year B.Tech. (Hons.), 5-year Dual degree, 5-year B.Arch. (Hons.) and 5-year Integrated M.Sc. courses, in accordance with the following rules :All students admitted to any of the 4-year B.Tech. Students who are enrolled in B.Tech, Dual Degree, B.Arch, Integrated M.Sc., and BS courses, but not SC/ST students who are taking state scholarships, are eligible for the MCM scholarship. Both merit and economic need are considered in the selection to ensure deserving candidates are sponsored. For fresh entrants, a minimum of 60% marks in the qualifying examination is required, and for renewal, a minimum GPA of 7.00 is required. In addition, the students must not be subject to any disciplinary action to be eligible for the scholarship.
