Who is eligible to apply for AIIMS Nursing 2026 BSc Nursing Course?

<p>The AIIMS nursing entrance is conducted for admission to AIIMS BSc (hons). A separate entrance exam is conducted for admission to the AIIMS Nursing (Post Basic) programme. Candidates must check the AIIMS Nursing eligibility criteria mentioned below to appear for the entrance exam:&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Eligibilty Criteria for AIIMS BSc (Hons)</strong></p><ul><li>It is mandatory to clear or have passed Class 12 exams or equivalent exams from a recognised board with Physics Chemistry, Biology and English subjects.</li><li>Candidate must have secured a minimum of 55 per cent marks in aggregate in class 12.</li><li>SC/ST category candidates should have secured 50 per cent in aggregate.</li></ul><p><strong>Eligibilty Criteria for AIIMS BSc (Post basic)</strong></p><ul><li>To appear in the BSc (Post basic) nursing exam, candidates possessing a Diploma in GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) from any Indian Nursing Council recognised institution are eligible to apply.</li><li>In addition, the applicant must have registered themselves as nurses or midwives with the State Nursing Council.</li><li>A mandatory six months of training as a registered nurse.&nbsp;</li></ul>

<p>Eligibility Criteria to apply for AIIMS Nursing 2024 BSc Nursing Course.</p><p><strong>For B.Sc:&nbsp;</strong>Those candidates who are interested in pursuing Nursing course from AIIMS must fulfil the eigibility criteria that is passed 12 exams with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English and have at least 55% overall; candidates from the SC/ST category should have at least 50% aggregate.</p><p><strong>For B.Sc. (Post basic)</strong> nursing, candidates possessing a Diploma in GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) from any Indian Nursing Council recognised institution.&nbsp;However, candidates who have qualified for class 11 on or before 1986 can also apply. Candidates must have registered themselves as nurses or midwives with the State Nursing Council. In the case of male nurses, besides being registered nurses, they should have six months of training.</p><p><strong>For B.Sc. Paramedical</strong>: Candidates should have passed the class or an equivalent exam from a recognised board/university with Physics, Chemistry, English, and biology or Math subjects. Candidates from the General/EWS/OBC category should have secured a minimum of 50 percent in aggregate in class 12, and SC/ST category candidates should have secured 45 percent in aggregate.</p>
