    There are certain categories of candidates who are exempted from the Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test (TSTET) exam. These include:

    1. Candidates who have already qualified the TSTET in previous years and possess a valid TSTET certificate.
    2. Candidates who have qualified the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) or any other equivalent national-level teacher eligibility test conducted by the Central Government.

    The students who are recruited as primary or upper primary teachers by the local authorities or government are exempted from the Telangana State Teachers Eligibility Test exam. Other than this every student has to take the exam Telangana State Teachers Eligibility Test to become a teacher in the Telangana state.     The upper primary teacher and primary teacher who has been appointed by the local authority or government by NCTE are exempted from TSTET 2023 exam. Candidates who are not appointed by the government or any authority must have to take the TSTET 2023 exam.
