There is only one name with me "Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam"
I don't go with too much reasons because it will be too lengthy. still few striking points are mentioned as,
At the age of 81 he is popular youth icon!!
His 79th birthday was recognized as World Students' Day by United Nations.
He also has received honorary doctorates from 40 universities.
And i believe its our fortune to get him as our president and privilege to every citizen to honour him as the "first citizen of India".
Seeing today's Indian politics I strongly believe A.P.J is the right person to title most prestigious designation "Indian President"!! -
I feel who so ever become the president of India, more than his personality it is his powers which will matter, as what I feel that generally Indian president has very limited powers.

2012-05-04 17:27:52Thank you very much for eliciting my opinion. The head of state of the Republic of India, the commander-in-chief of the armed forces, and yes, ideally speaking, also the nation's conscience-keeper- who would be the next?
Political circles are abuzz with a few names who could wear these hats; who, if any of them, will eventually occupy Rashtrapati Bhavan depends on a number of political permutations and combinations.
