The number of openings for the SSC JE exam is announced by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). The other exam phases, such as the application process, test administration, result publication, document verification, and applicant appointment to other departments, are also under the purview of SSC.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is responsible for releasing the number of vacancies for the SSC JE exam. SSC is also responsible for the other stages of the exam like application process, conducting the exam, publishing result, document verification, and appointmnt of the candidates into various departments.
