It is conducted across the country jointly by IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, IIT Roorkee, and the Indian Institute for Science, Bangalore (IISC Bangalore), on a rotational basis
