Hi Mohd. Ajaz Khan,
To become an IPS officer the minimum requirement is to write and qualify UPSC exams. To be eligible for the exam one requires to be a minimum of graduate degree holder and maximum age not exceeding 30 years.
The written exam of IPS is carried out in two phases- CSAT and Main exa

u need to appear for UPSC civil service exam. Please visit www.upsc.gov.in for complete details. The last date to apply both online and offline is 21st march 2011.
