Why are AME courses so expensive? Is it fair to pay INR 35 lakhs for a 5 year AME programme and how does one ensure that there is good ROI?

There appears to be some confusion in raising the query. Let me try and remove the confusion and try to throw some light.Aircraft Maintenance Engineering or "AME" courses are not high cost at all. Typically annual expenditure would be about Rs. 1 lakh. It is felt that this is reasonable. Secondly, it's a three year course and not five years course. This is after 10+2 stage. In addition, many institutions have tied up with some university to award a B.Sc degree. So three year B.Sc in AME with Rs.3 lakh expense is surely reasonable. You said it rightly that AME courses are expensive. Not just AME but every course that comes under aviation is expensive. The reason is:
(1) Expenditure done by the institution is also high. If you are taking training of flying the plane then it is the duty of academy to give you the airplane modal to demonstrates various experiment and maneuvers. In orders to generate revenue (against applied investment cost), they charge slightly high fees.
