Why are Irish universities waiving off IELTS from requirements?

<p dir="ltr">To promote inclusivity and based on several concerns received from international students, the Irish universities may waive the IELTS test requirement for one or more of the following reasons:</p><ul><li dir="ltr" aria-level="1"><p dir="ltr" role="presentation">Students have received their previous education from an English medium institution.&nbsp;</p></li><li dir="ltr" aria-level="1"><p dir="ltr" role="presentation">Students belong to a nation where English is a primary medium of communication.</p></li><li dir="ltr" aria-level="1"><p dir="ltr" role="presentation">Universities may also waive the IELTS test requirement on a case-by-case basis, considering the students.</p></li><li dir="ltr" aria-level="1"><p dir="ltr" role="presentation">Universities may also offer conditional offers to students who need to meet the English proficiency requirement before the start of their course.&nbsp;</p></li></ul>
