Why are majority of law colleges located in Uttar Pradesh?

    That's a very smart question. Not only law colleges, every kind of colleges are located in Uttar Pradesh. Be it an engineering or management colleges, majority are located in UP. It has become a hub of an education. Main reason for such high rise in number of colleges in UP, which I find, is political money or black money invested in education sector in UP. The black money infused in system is layered in different types of transaction, and then integrated into such sectors so that it is original. Source cannot be tracked and money is converted into white.

    Well this a mistaken idea that majority of law colleges are located in U.P. U.P, being a huge state, it has an advantage of having a number of institutes owing to available land. As there are many states which has a number of law schools for example Gujarat apart from GNLU, has Siddhartha Law college, Auro University Of Law, Institute of Law, Nirma University, United Global World School Of Law, RN Patel school of Law and many more. Thus, it is not the case that UP has majority of law schools as every state has a number of Law schools and universities.

    Indeed this is a very smart and interesting question to answer. Geographically, the state of Uttar Pradesh is the largest state in the country. One cannot say that only majority of law colleges are in Uttar Pradesh, but majority every kind of colleges are in Uttar Pradesh. When people had no place to invest in Delhi due to lack of land, the government has created a new area adjacent to Delhi named as New Okhla Industrial Development Area (NOIDA) in Uttar Pradesh.
