Why are the placements in Thapar University so high despite the bad reviews of many students studying at Thapar?

thats because the college is very old, and that adds value to the institution. It also has a fairly decent rankings General international Asia(2018)-210 Times(World)(2018)801-1000 Times(Asia)(2018)251-300 General India NIRF(Overall)(2018)50 NIRF(Universities)(2018) 30 Engineering India NIRF(2018)
