Why B-schools like FMS, SPJIMR, MDI or any top 10-15 close there application before CAT exam? Can't we apply after CAT results are out?

No, you cannot apply in any of these institutes after the CAT examination. The applications are now closed for each of the three institutes.

You cannot apply in MDI, Gurgaon after CAT results are out. Applications are closed before the CAT exam and MDI, Gurgaon does not reopen its applications. -
Hi Gopesh,
It is the institute's prerogative to decide the deadline's of their application process.
One explanation for this could be that your desire to join the institute should be independent of how well you think you have written the entrance exam.
