Why CA is considered as one of the most difficult courses? I am not much interested in accounting.

I have got 73% in 11th and I am from Punjab.

    Hi there,
    Well, CA is undoubtedly considered one of most difficult courses just because it has a very low passing percentage. However it might not be that difficult but owing to less passing percentage of students it is considered difficult. Well accounts is an important and significant part of the process. If you don't like it the means you do not have interest in it. You get your answer. You should not take up CA then.

    Dear Jasmine,
    Let me answer you in two parts. Firstly, CA is a certification equivalent to PG. It is considered difficult because it is a statutory designation. Every company has to appoint a CA in order to maintain it's accounts. Also on completion of CA not only one can pursue his/her career in the job but also can start and develop career into private practice. It is a career that makes an individual expert about every part into accountancy. Apart from this one can also enter into academics after completing CA. It is a multifaceted career.
