Why do people pursue B.Tech rather than BE even if BE is of 3-years? I have heard that BE and B.Tech are same still people prefer B.Tech.

Hello Vikas,
Your information is not correct or it's out of context. Both BE and B.Tech are four degree courses approved by AICTE. If you take lateral admission after diploma then one requires three years to complete BE or B.Tech.

Both are identical. Whatever applies equally to both. You are missing the point in that BE from IIT is entirely different from say BE from govt college in Maharashtra.
