Why do some people go for Diploma in Engineering at first instead of going for BTech/BE directly?

I wanted to know why would a person go for a Diploma in Engineering and later go for a degree like BE/B.Tech instead of directly going for BE/BTech and having better educational qualification & job opportunities from earlier itself?

I think you perceived wrong about it as students those are not in the condition of joining graduation generally opt this course and after studies join companies directly without going for graduation, only such diploma holder opt BE those think that they need more eduction to get a better job or have
