Why do we give CAT exam for getting admission in MBA?

Akash, Athena accepts any of the following Tests - CAT, XAT, CMAT, NMAT, MAT, MHCET & ASAT (Athena Scholar Aptitude Test). All the Best!

Because all good colleges admit students based on entrance tests. And CAT is the most accepted entrance test for B-school in India. Without writing CAT or any of the other entrance tests (XAT, CMAT) you will never be able to study in decent colleges (tier 1 & tier 2) in India.

CAT is the best Entrance exam in India for Admission in Top MBA colleges in India LIKE CAT there is also Exam that is CMAT which is also good exam for MBA entrance. So If you want to take admission in Top MBA colleges then you must have to give exams like CAT, CMAT, MAT, XAT, SNAP, IIFT, NMAT etc.
