Why does Lovely Professional University have such a bad reputation?

Bad Reputation! Who says that I haven't heard. Anyways I would like to share some key insights about LPU. Frequent guest lectures/ workshops are also organized for them by the university. , Ministry of Science Technology Advisory Monitoring Committee Meeting was held where 42 Scientists from various top universities like IITs, NITs, top Central and State Universities including (LPU) from across the country presented their research proposals. The syllabus is updated every 6 months which personally, It has separate lab facilities available for each course like robotics Lab, research lab, postgraduate lab, aviation lab, lab for fashion designing, advance kitchen lab etc. Faculty members are highly qualified, most of the faculty members have done their Ph.D. and others are pursuing, they have at least minimum of 5 years of experience and ample amount of knowledge, both theoretical and practical knowledge. They are cooperative and whenever you need their help, they are ready to help you out. PEP classes start right away from the first semester itself in form of Communication Skills and continue till the final semester covering: Analytical Skills (Logic Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning) Quantitative Aptitude Skills Technical Aptitude Skills Presentations and Soft Skills Mock Exercises (Mock Interviews, GDs, Mock Tests, etc. ). All a student has to do is to maintain a good academic record and personality to ensure his/her placement. Some of the OTHER MAIN POINTS: faculty members, studying in LPU will get a degree accredited from a body of USA. 1. LPU got the highest ranking according to Impact Ranking 2021 2. LPU is ranked No 2 among the Indian B schools in Outreach and Inclusivity by NIRF. 3. Scholarships provide an opportunity for the students to earn an education. Of course, there are numerous students who are deserving and yes LPU would be the best platform for them which give them the way to attain their degree in much affordable way. 4. Unblemished placements records with more than 200 corporates which entails Asian Paints, Federal Banks, Royal Bank of Scotland, Moody's Analytics and so on are keep on recruiting maximum students on yearly basis. You know what, the highest package of MBA was 21 Lacs per annum.

Hi, We have seen that whenever a university reaches heights by making efforts, rumors start spreading to bring the downfall. But rumors are just rumors. The way LPU is making efforts for their children is commendable. The vision of LPU is to be a premier academic institution recognised internationally for its contribution to industry and society through excellence in teaching, learning, research, internationalization, entrepreneurship, and leadership. That is what the University is achieving now. If I talk about the placements, more than 750 companies visit LPU every year for recruitment. Many top recruiters visit the LPU campus to employ graduates, such as Amazon, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Capgemini, Bosch, TCS, and several other firms. Recently, a girl got placed at a package of 42 LPA. Moreover, Amazon recruited LPU students with 30 LPA. Thanks.

I beg to differ to your statement completely. I have been with LPU for 5 core years of my life and I would say it is one of the best learning platform one can ever have. Very reasonable at price so that even middle class people like us can afford quality education. It has a happy and fun filled environment that keeps us away from stress. And side wise there are multiple activities that helps you experiential learn and grow. As an alumnae I have personally experienced the style and learning pedagogy of LPU. I can vouch on their upbringing and training style that builds our career in the long run. I found Lovely Professional University's curriculum, exposure and training to be very effective. Round the year there are wonderous efforts LPU placements puts in transforming and polishing their students in best direction. There are multiple corporate interactions, HR conclaves, live projects, industry competition, professional enhancement training etc. That plays the magic. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every eligible student to secure good placement with the help of a dedicated Division of Career Services (team of about 40 person) and faculty/staff from parent School. LPU is conferred with National Employability Award 2020 by Aspiring Minds for the 7th time in a row for having Most Employable Students and being one among the top colleges and universities in India with one of the highest Employability rates. At LPU I found a plethora of opportunities whether it be in academics, extra curricular or national & international exposure. That's not True, LPU has been ranked among the top universities and colleges of India By NIRF. LPU has kept its pace with other well-established universities. Considering the fact, LPU was founded in 2005, and to date, it is home to thousands of students and alumni working in top-notch industries. LPU students have been working in more than 1400 reputed companies across the globe Even the pandemic could not stop LPU from curating the careers of young talent at LPU. For witnessed outstanding batch graduating in 2021, already 1000+ campus placement/internship and leading industry giants generating more than 5200+ offers LPU security system is very uptight, whether it's about providing a safe environment to students on campus or in the hostel, LPU never compromises with the security and safety of students. LPU has a highly qualified and hardworking faculty. The classroom and labs are well-equipped with up-to-date technology and materials.

The Ministry of Human Resource Department, Government of India has released NIRF Ranking 2020 and LPU appears in Top 100 in its most crucial Overall category, which includes IITs and Central Universities. LPU is also ranked 78th in the list of all the government and private universities of the country. University Engineering School is in the Top 100, Management School in the Top 50, and Pharmacy School in the Top 30 institutions of India. LPU offers variety of courses in B.Tech, B.Arch B.Sc. B.A. LL.B. Des. There are approximately 360 courses that are offered at LPU. Even during this unprecedented time of COVID almost 7200+ offers were generated and still there is more to come.

LPU adopts new technologies faster than anyone, they update their curriculum even after each semester by taking feedback from the students and also to meet the latest standards. LPU focuses on practical knowledge a lot, they have high tech labs and dedicated MAC lab for iOS development, each core subject has a different practical subject for it. They give you very good amount of training before you go into campus placements. Try not to miss those classes they will help you in getting better placements after all, all we need is a decent place with good exposure. Certifications from industries, Hackathons and workshops, Guest lectures, Regular educational trips, Real life live projects, Community projects etc. All are essential and integral part of the curriculum. Besides core curriculum, you'll also get subjects like communication, verbal, analytical skills and soft skills to improve personality and employability and be more productive. Also in today generation knowledge and education is not only based on textbooks but also on the outside world, thinking out of the box and overall learning that's why LPU offers their students to participate in lot of activities and events, the environment of LPU is very good and the academics tasks of LPU are so well planned that even in a course like Engineering you'll be able to manage time for exploring other things.
