Bad Reputation! Who says that I haven't heard. Anyways I would like to share some key insights about LPU. Frequent guest lectures/ workshops are also organized for them by the university. , Ministry of Science Technology Advisory Monitoring Committee Meeting was held where 42 Scientists from various top universities like IITs, NITs, top Central and State Universities including (LPU) from across the country presented their research proposals. The syllabus is updated every 6 months which personally, It has separate lab facilities available for each course like robotics Lab, research lab, postgraduate lab, aviation lab, lab for fashion designing, advance kitchen lab etc. Faculty members are highly qualified, most of the faculty members have done their Ph.D. and others are pursuing, they have at least minimum of 5 years of experience and ample amount of knowledge, both theoretical and practical knowledge. They are cooperative and whenever you need their help, they are ready to help you out. PEP classes start right away from the first semester itself in form of Communication Skills and continue till the final semester covering: Analytical Skills (Logic Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning) Quantitative Aptitude Skills Technical Aptitude Skills Presentations and Soft Skills Mock Exercises (Mock Interviews, GDs, Mock Tests, etc. ). The way LPU is making efforts for their children is commendable. That is what the University is achieving now. If I talk about the placements, more than 750 companies visit LPU every year for recruitment. Many top recruiters visit the LPU campus to employ graduates, such as Amazon, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Capgemini, Bosch, TCS, and several other firms. I beg to differ to your statement completely. I have been with LPU for 5 core years of my life and I would say it is one of the best learning platform one can ever have. Very reasonable at price so that even middle class people like us can afford quality education. It has a happy and fun filled environment that keeps us away from stress. And side wise there are multiple activities that helps you experiential learn and grow. As an alumnae I have personally experienced the style and learning pedagogy of LPU. I can vouch on their upbringing and training style that builds our career in the long run. I found Lovely Professional University's curriculum, exposure and training to be very effective. Round the year there are wonderous efforts LPU placements puts in transforming and polishing their students in best direction. There are multiple corporate interactions, HR conclaves, live projects, industry competition, professional enhancement training etc. That plays the magic. Hii Lovely Professional University is having a good reputation, got top rankings from many agencies. Ranked 38th among Best Business Management School of India and 26th among top Pharmacy Colleges of India by NIRF. Even I am a student of LPU and have not seen anything on the campus that leads to a bad reputation. They are really working hard on students to provide them best placements. I have seen the top MNCs visiting LPU for recruitment purposes. I can explain to you with an example, For Cognizant, LPU has been the destination to pick a market-ready workforce as it has selected 1800 plus engineering students over the years. Everyone knows the fact that the same MNC will never visit next to university if they will not get the required candidate means technically strong, confident, having practical knowledge and other parameters. So, if cognizant is visiting again and again to LPU and hiring students in bulk that means the company is getting the type of candidates they want. So, those candidates are being prepared like that by LPU only, through PEP classes, industry-oriented curriculum, and exposure. And is not only about cognizant, there are many other MNCs that visit LPU for campus placement drives every year.
