Why does SNU Chennai offer very less seats for B.Sc?

<p>Since BSc at SNU Chennai is an interdisciplinary programme, the university keeps the cohort size less to focus on each individual. To provide hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge of the field there are fewer seats available for the programme.</p><p>BSc at SNU Chennai also has a project/dissertation component at the end of the course, which needs the guidance and supervision of a mentor. To give each student enough opportunities to talk to their mentor/faculty SNU Chennai only offers 60 seats in one academic year of BSc.</p>
