Why does SP Jain have autumn internships?

SPJIMR students intern with top companies at the end of the third semester. (Autumn/fall) is not at the end of the first year. The following reason:- -In the first year, the curriculum of business studies is trained on fundamental of management while the project with the company requires a more specialised and advanced course. -The third-semester course aims at specialisation courses like marketing, finance, HR, operations and information management thereby enabling the student to apply this knowledge in solving complex problems in the company. -The autumn project backed by advance knowledge of the chosen specialisation helps the student generate more chances to get pre-placement offers and Pre Placement Interview from their internship company only and the outcome had been growing for over 40% from the last few years by following this trend.
