Why does the college give direct admissions in finance in BIIB? Is it a merit or demerit from a student point of view?

Now it's simple that you were cleared to go with FINANCE but rest comes to campus and they will then decide to go with FINANCE. Then for which they have to go for exam. Compa

Maximum students appt for marketing specialization because they feel it as secure. So many seats are left in finance that's why college gives you direct admission to BIIB finance. And is a demerit because college can't find quality students I'm direct admission.
