    Depends on several factors:
Your background, academics, interview performance and how you present yourself. Also, depends on your body language as well as tone of your voice.

IIMs try to judge the holistic personality of an individual just like companies do for jobs which is not solely based on the CAT score. For the shortlisting, the factors considered are past academic scores of 10th, 12th and Work experience (years and quality), diversity of background which have different weightage. After the shortlisting, What (written ability test) and Interview are used to evaluate the candidate if they are a good fit. As IIMs offer an environment which is highly paced and hectic, it's important to take students who can survive the stress, also they have clarity of goals. Also, to give you a number, 0.5 % of 2lakh ca

IIMs have different criteria for admission. While CAT score is a very important component in the selection process, it is not the only thing considered. For the initial shortlist for the interview apart from CAT score, they look at your past academic performance. A consistently good academic record is what they are looking for. Work experience in terms of not just number of months but also the quality is important. Once you get the initial shortlist the interview is the major criteria. In the interview, they try to see if you are a good fit for the programme. They try to see your thought process. Many times the answer you have given do

Indian Institute of management is a dream destination for students. There are lot of criteria which IIMS look for:
    - Marks/percentile.
    - Group discussion.
    - Personal interview.
If one performs badly in any of the above it will reduce your chance of getting into IIMs.
IIMs Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta and Kozhikode are the most demanded campus. Some years there will be a change in salary package for students studying in these campuses. The best thing is that competition for students in IIM A, B, C is high. The percentile of 99.5 sometime won't be a matter of fact. At times the student is not able to perform well in GD-PI. We cannot assure a s

IIMs are one of the premier institutions in India. To get into IIMs you have to clear CAT with high percentile score. Once you score high you get a call from various IIIMs automatically for the next process. IIMs criteria are profile based and weightages is given to work experience, academic background etc. So people are not able to get into IIM's if they are not properly prepared for the WAT- GD-PI process. IIM's pass-out go for the leadership positions in the company and therefore leadership skills are checked in the PI process along with the skill to carry through the arduous journey of the curriculum. Also whether you are able to a

IIMs are premier management institutes in India. They have to make sure that only best students get in.
Speaking of IIM-A, it is ranked one in India and so the competition for getting admitted here is fierce. Many top students from different streams apply for the college.
CAT is just a exam based on aptitude and logical reasoning to filter out the not so serious and not so talented (no offense) crowd from the selection process. Scoring good in CAT means you have got a good IQ or you worked pretty hard for the exam but it doesn't mean that you are eligible to manage a company or be a leader.
IIM-A wants to produce top managers so that the
