Why education a basic need? What we can do to ensure it to all?

Education is the fourth necessity for man after food, clothing and shelter, in today’s competitive world but even, few people deny it. I request all experts to share their valuable views in this discussion.

    Let me conclude the discussion by Arvind Joshi245 sirs words,
    * education is a basic need because it differentiates us humans from the higher animals
    * real education does not mean attaining good marks or a degree,
    * IT means clarification of basic concepts at the grass root level, so that the HOW and WHY are satisfied* EDUCATION IS THE KEY TO WISDOM*

    Hello sir,
    your topic is very nice , I saw ! sentence that is " Why education a basic need?"
    but by the education we get lots of knowledge n knowledge never go waste
    n in the today's world is growing very fast n if we have to survive in it than we have well educated , am I right ?.

    EDUCATION IS THE KEY TO WISDOM.The basic education starts at home--with mother as the real teacher, who does not require a fee in return.She only wants her child's welfare-- so that the child becomes WISE in day-to-day affairs.She always says"Padh likh kar badey aaadmi banna"(after getting educated, be a great person).Great means WISE here.So, in order to become wise, one needs education. A child's basic education prepares him to collect the stray thoughts and dismantled thoughts into a string, so that he starts thinking logically.     Nice discussion Arun ji. As for the necessities other than education mentioned, well i think in today's competitive world.to be able to attain it all, education is the primary source which enables one to earn and attain the mentioned necessities like food, clothing and shelter.
    Education definitely is the most important thing.
