electron is associated with mainly 5 -6 effects when it travels.as it moves along the circuit,it loses some amount of energy, and this energy is used as current,as the electron is associated with spins(magnetic),hence the existence of a magnetic field around a current carrying conductor is observed.
the electron also absorbs radiation or energy,it stores this energy for a particular fraction of seconds and then in order to attain stability,it again radiates the energy in the form of waves, this ensures light waves being associated with the electron
