Why experience is required for mba
After b.tech ( mechanical engg ) . i wanna do MBA without any work experience from Good B- school in India . is it good idea or not ?

Experience is required only for part time or executive MBA , not for regular MBA. Becasue part time or executive MBA is only for working professionals

Hi Kuldeep,
After B.Tech in mechanical engineering, you may pursue MBA if you wish to move your career towards management line.
To study MBA/PGDM you don't require work experience. But, if you are planning for Executive MBA then you need to have 3-5 years of work experience.

Earlier students used to join MBA/PGDM just after graduation. they had no exposure of real working conditions or how industry works. hence it was difficult to co-relate to the subjects taught. now students work for 1-2yrs before joining MBA/PGDM as they have clear career goals and better industry un

For the admission in regular / Distance MBA experience is not required only in EMBA experience required. EMBA is specially design for executives therefore experience is required.
